Your 3 Step Guide On How To Object

Read steps 1-3 before clicking the button at the bottom

The whole process should take approx. 4-8 minutes to complete depending on how much you intend to put in the comments section. You may find it handy to have your comments at hand before you head off to the objection page.

Your objection MUST be based on facts rather than emotions.

The key points that you may want to include:

  • The obvious traffic problems at the Hambro Hill/Hockley Road mini roundabout. Which by the councils own admission is not only almost at full capacity at peak times but is also unmitigable due to the constraints
  • The safety aspect and the poor access point to the site itself at the brow of the hill, close to a blind bend
  • The fact that the site has been removed from the council's Local Plan
  • You would like the overall planning application reviewed by The Development Control Committee and NOT left to Planning Officers
  • Infrastructure, doctors, dentists, schools etc.

Anything else that you want to add is entirely up to you
The objection letter/comments need to be in your own words but if you're unsure of how to word it you'll find that AI is a handy tool to help you. ChatGPT, CoPilot, Gemini, etc.
