Why Should This Bother Me?
There will be the noise and dust of a major building project over a long period of time, as they’ll phase the build. It will affect drainage and wildlife and lots of construction traffic will be using the adjacent roads.

Who Can I Put My Objections To?
The deadline for formal objections has passed but you can still contact councillors or Rochford District council. You could also generally make your voice heard on Facebook, Instagram etc!

Who Is Funding The Community Group?
We have no outside funding so us residents are funding everything! There is a GoFundMe page and we'll also be holding various fundraising events. This is your group, this is your future and the future of your kids. Don't be a passenger, please act and make a difference!!

What Can I Do To Help?
Support us by helping draft responses, delivering leaflets, spreading the word and eventually attending formal meetings with the Group leaders. You can contact us HERE

What Is The Timescale?
The Rochford District Local Plan 24th March deadline has passed and the developers have held their consultation.

Are There Any Other Risks Involved?
The developers could submit a pre-application planning document to Rochford District Council which has shorter timescales and would pre-empt the Local Plan placing the site at even greater risk
